[Freetel-codec2] Using USART3 in sm1000

Hi all,
I am impressed by codec2 and sm1000.
My questions are:

1) What output of USART3 on board connector(CN11) of SM1000 should be
Expected?
2) Can this USART3 help to debugging sm1000 code?
