[Freetel-codec2] SM1000 on 2400 bps

Hello,

I am playing with SM1000 and codec2. I have sucesfully run codec2 with
1600 bps. I failed with 2400 bps.
What I have to change except (FREEDV_MODE_1600 -> FREEDV_MODE_2400A) ?

Hello Bohdan,

At this stage we haven't ported either of the VHF/UHF FREEDV_2400 modes
to the SM1000.

FREEDV_2400A requires a SDR for tx/rx being a 5kHz wide waveform.
FREEDV2400B would operate through the mic/speaker port of a typical FM
radio.

Bohdan you'll find David is currently working on a new 700 bps codec and
modem, with a focus to beat SSB performance with Digital Voice.

I'm sure that he'd welcome any assistance porting the 2400B mode to the
SM1000 platform.
